You’re welcome. I doubt the quality will be that great but you could throw the resultant scan into Z Brush or 3d coat and use it as a start to improve it. 3d coat will allow you to re toppo the mesh…google is your friend ;-D As a lazy 3d artist this could shave some time off modeling things.
THIS is the kind of thing that people should be going for. We already have amazing cameras in our pockets. We already have a lot of this tech on us already. Does it support scanning from multiple heights/angles?
@ThantiK I don’t think it mentions “Does it support scanning from multiple heights/angles?” I doubt it though, but that’s just a feeling on my part and studying the photo, we’ll just have to wait a few more months to find out.

He’s got some great videos on all things 3d printing.
Without any markers that rotate with the object this will only work well for feature-rich objects with clear to determine edges.
@Marcus_Wolschon Very good point. You might need to place a high contrast background behind the turntable.
