If only the UPS Store had convenient access to a to-your-door delivery service. They could even partner with that service so customers could bring in their own packages for shipping any number of items.
Though seriously, 100 carefully chosen locations in the US is probably more than enough for next-day ground for 99% of the US population, plus plenty of overlap. It’s not like these machines are fast anyways, waiting a day or so is reasonable. I think Shapeways wants a week or two for most of their processes.
