Well technically its not a motorcycle, Its an e-Bike, If it only weighs 35kg and cost $50,000 you would think they would of added an extra battery and double the distance you can travel on it, for that I’m not buying one, lol Like I would of anyways, lol
That seat is slightly nostalgic somehow. Reminds me of my Space Invaders bike with its banana seat.
I wonder how much of the cost of that is wrapped up in the fancy aluminum printing process they used.
@Jeff_Dewe funny, just a week ago I’ve seen someone object to internal combustion engines referred to as motors, that motors were a different kind of device. Put an actual motor on a cycle and it’s no longer a motor cycle. English is weird.
all I know guys “Bikes” with electric engines locally are called e-bikes and you can drive with without Insurance or license, Bikes that burn any type of gas are called “Motor cycles” and you need Insurance and a license to drive them.
Different places will have different regulations and definitions for motorcycle, mopeds, scooters, bicycles, etc. So, whether or not this is a motorcycle will depend on where you are when the police get involved.
It turns out that it’s really difficult to come up with a precise definition for “motorcycle”, which is why there are so many different ways that governments classify them. So there’s no point in attempting to be pedantic about whether this is one.
Omg that’s soo cool! Do 3D printers print Metal & Plastic?
@Josh_Lawhun $500 printers print plastic. $500K printer print metal.
@william_foster , $500 printers will print plastic that can be made INTO metal with a forge though!
I just got some precious metal clay filament! It prints fdm then you fire it and it’s 100% metal. .07% shrinkage
That cool, it seems like you could make a lotta neat things with one. I’ve never really created anything in 3D. Just messed around in Maya a little. What kinda program is good for making models?
I like Fusion 360
@Brook_Drumm thanks so much! I wanna check it out.
