@Phil_Evans you underestimate how easy it is to pick a door lock. I can pick most in under 20 seconds.

Oh yeah I’ve had a go at lock picking myself. But if a hacker ever gets hold of the data they don’t even need to try and pick the lock. They can just stroll right in.

@Phil_Evans there was a.project about 4 years ago that took images of keys and converted then to models for a lock Smith to cut. I am not talking about “nice pictures” I am talking about key ring set in dash while loading bags into the car taken from 3 stories up and across the street.

The moral of the story is these hypothetical security breaches due to 3d printing are hype, there always have been massive holes in the security infrastructure.
