Its done.

What’s going on here, supporting the engine for changing mounts or taking transmission off? Nifty rig. Kinda surprised it’s stiff enough not to sway and fender rails are strong enough to bear the load.

@Tim_Visible
Thx for the comment. The blue parts (which get pulled down) are made of Nylon PA6 which is so unbelievably strong. The orange ones are of ABS but only get pressed down by the tubes. Well yes this is a common way to do it. You cant do it on a chevy V8 ;D but on this little fcker the fender rails dont even bend when doing this :wink:

@VolksTrieb but i would suggesting to add a metal plate on top of the blue parts.
So the forces would act on the metal plate and not on the plastic.

You wouldn’t have you’re fingers between motor parts, in case the plastic breaks

@Sebastian_Schmidt got big washers under it

Next you should make something to cover up the thermal exhause port in case of rebel fighters.

Golf gti. 1990ish??

@Jonathon_Thrumble
No sadly only a GT Special from 1989 :slight_smile:
