Wonder why they make a big deal of the ADC? The ESP-12 and ESP-210 both have the ADC input available. Looks like the usual arrangement in the photo but with missing aerial. I’ve never understood why they made modules like that as the internal ones work so well. How much FLASH does it have?
On my board I have Winbond W25Q40, means 4MBit. From my point of view the possibilty of an external antenna is a good features.
If you need an external antenna that’s great. 4Mbit (512KB) is common to many of the modules out there, the later one having up to 4MB. Now, when I finally figure out how to simply use arrays in FLASH without them ending up clogging up memory - I’ll be able to make use of the extra space
