Got LaserWeb3 up & running this evening
PWM engrave test of a gradient filled rectangle.

Finally got around to doing my SmoothieBoard conversion today & had my first go with LaserWeb3.
Looks like PWM is running well
I’m guessing I just have to spend some time now playing around with settings etc to get things to my preferred results per material.
For this I used 10mA (on my pot) & I set 150mm/s for the black & white feed rates & 50mm/s for the XY move speed (not sure if that really affects the engrave or just the blank moving spots).
+Peter van der Walt I saw the other option for XY speeds though, that is what I set to 50mm/s. Is that just for standard moves when the laser isn’t firing?
+Peter van der Walt I believe Master branch.
Thanks, I’ll check that post.
edit: very useful that post & link to the MrBeam info.
I’ll probably spend the next week testing different materials before I get into actually doing any projects.
+Peter van der Walt Oh, okay
I was wondering what it did haha. Thanks Peter.
I’ll get the hang of it the more I play with it. I’m happy to be joining the fun & hopefully more able to assist with testing & the likes now.
