Got my new controller board from +Peter van der Walt and very excited. Quality is fantastic. Going to use it on my new Prusa i3 Steel. Will see how it works out compared to my Ramps 1.4 & Marlin.

Very nice. I can see a lot of clever thought! But please, make pinouts for unused pins. You are limiting the the possibilities of the board by not doing this.

sry, but I’m full of projects myself  Just saying what I observe, I read a lot. In europe, the RADDS is a big player, but it is expensive, not open and comes only from one supplier. Your board would be a perfect competitor. But with only 4 steppersockets and no further pinouts, it is not upgradeable. There is a need for more steppers, believe me.

I’m not an electronic engineer at all so pardon if my suggestion is silly. What about extending the pins from underneath and making a daughter board in top that adds additional steppers or support for the other pins? I get that the components under it won’t be able to wire in but they can move to the upper board aswell?

Nice! exactly what I was looking for. Just placed an order over at DirtyPCBs. I guess, will have a couple PCBs to spare in a few weeks.

Does this board have a name ?.
How much does this board cost? would love to have one…

Very nice. Are you custom making these +Peter van der Walt?

Well everything is for my own use only…lol. i am also looking at this injection molding machine on Indiegogo from one of your Durban neighbors but figure getting a 14kg item to me from SA would be insanely expensive.

Are you going to make a few extra? I am thinking there would be a little bit if demand. I would be interested if the price is right.

+Peter van der Walt Link?

+Peter van der Walt did you make significant changes to the repetier firmware or should i be able to run the current official repetier master?

+Peter van der Walt i see. Might be worth a pull request with a dedicated pin layout for your board then. I can look into it whenever my boards arrive and when i start tinkering with that. Thanks again!

+Peter van der Walt Thanks for the offer Peter, I’m ok for now, I do my own electronics, programming, 3D design and now…injection moulding

@Samer_Najia Hi, World wide Shipping is $79 for the manual Many-Maker machine

Thank you Lafras. Very interested. First, have to pay for the Open CNC.

@Michael_Scholtz So I’m guessing use the same wire winding sockets like the drivers use but on the shield headers, and tap the pins you want. No need to change the board.
