Got slightly carried away with my Prusa upgrade…
Original plan was JUST to replace the Y carriage with V-slot as I was unhappy with the 3 bearing carriage…
Then I decided to upgrade the X axis while I was at it…
It evolved into this before it made anywhere near the old frame.
First impressions, great quality, silent motion. Very happy so far.
you should probably publish the design…it may help others to upgrade theirs.
@Cristian_Nicola Will do once I’ve made some minor upgrades, improvements, and run it for a little while to catch any issues before putting it in the wild.
Is that wood PLA? I just picked some up but haven’t had a chance to try it out.

@Rob_Stuart_bornity Yes its Formfutura 1.75mm EasyWood (Cedar). Only just got round to using the roll i got last Xmas. Overall impression is OK. Its softer and stringier than PLA. looks more like MDF than wood though.
