Great Program. Just one issue, That I can’t seem to find a solution for. My Android tablet and OTG cable hook up right away to my printer, using ramps board and Arduino. I am not getting the battery charge back to the tablet even though I have supplied power to the Arduino. I will one day do the blue tooth thing, but for now I’d like to use it this way for a while. On a long print, this could be an issue. PLEASE tell me there is a solution. I bought the tablet JUST for this program.

For charging over USB OTG you need a tablet with a custom kernel. I have the Asus Nexus 2013 with CM12 Beta with a special kernel (ElementalX) to get this working.

Also a splitter cable is needed of course to connect both USB printer and charging micro USB cable.

A few GCodePrintr users have reported that charging would work with Android 5 and an Y-USB-Cable, but it seems to work on some devices only (not on my HTC one). For this reason I always recommend a tablet with dedicated charging port.
