Guess the printer.
Hints: DLP printer with 3DM black ABS
Printer Manufactured in Europe
One of these things is not like another, one of these things does not belong… Either ABS or DLP printed but not both. +1 @David_Sherwood
@Alan_Thomason what???

If I understood this… Are you saying ABS shouldn’t be printed on DLP printers?
I do agree to some extent
What sort of cure times are you seeing with the 3DM resins?
It’s their goofy terminology to say it’s similar in properties to ABS. I kind of doubt it has any ABS in it.
@Stephen_Baird I’m not sure as we got the printer a couple of weeks ago. But for now we are using the cure times from the orange 3DM ABS.
I think that we are using 5-7 seconds cure time
Based on this print that seems to be the correct exposure time. I don’t suppose you have experience with other resins on the printer to gauge against do you?
@Stephen_Baird not yet. We are going to start testing the R5 Grey (which is the one we currently use on our envisiontec machines)
It’s always hard to come by good comparison data on resin cure times, I’ve got the results I’m keeping track of and a few other people have mentioned, but with the more exotic/expensive suppliers the data is quite a bit thinner.
It sounds like pretty standard DLP cure times, though, so that gives me a rough idea. Thanks!
