Guys, does anyone have a 300x300 and 200x300 hotbed design file, so i can mill/etch?

thanks!

Most people use silicone heaters for beds that size.

BTW, if you do try to mill/etch your own PCB, be prepared to try several times before you get the resistance right. The heating power of a PCB heater is a function of voltage and resistance, and the resistance is dependant on the precise width of the PCB trace as well as the thickness of the copper layer. A little too thin on either and the resistance will be way too high. Go the other direction and you may fry your MOSFET. The width also needs to be very consistent. If you have one spot that’s just a little thinner than the rest, it will heat more, and may burn out.

It’s a much more sensitive process than normal PCBs, which are designed with significant tolerance to ensure that the traces don’t heat up much. Really something better left to a real fab house.

@Whosa_whatsis , it will be made by a pro.

Living in Argentina makes buying stuff overseas really expensive and difficult. If i can make a replacement locally (even if it cost the same as the imported stuff), i will be happier.

Even made by professionals, the design will need to be calibrated to the tolerances of their equipment and raw stock, so you can’t expect to get it right the first time.
