Guys, is there anything written about the math behind a 3dprinter?, i want to present 3dprinting to a group of mathematicians and i guess that they will get bored unless i tell them something about quadratics and trigonometry

Look up the delta printer stuff. at least that is kind of fun mathematically.

Are you familiar with OpenSCAD?
