Well how can I get a frame / Chassis from you & the board.
It’s a nice printer that can be better. When people tried to give Peter ideas to make it better Peter deleted the post.
Ok, well I am looking for the Frame and Peter says I have to wait till the next group buy. Hopefully Peter could share the new cutting plan so I can get it cut locally or I just download Version 4 , which I think is the latest.
His layout for a full sheet of frames is online. The original frame is available on e-bay.

Peter’s version has caps for the ends of the Y rods and steel X parts similar to the X parts on the p3+ on Thingiverse. If you are good with a Dremel you can cut groves in the X and Y rods for e-clips that will keep the end plates from being pulled in by belt tension. I would also recommend using a lighter bed carrier than the steel one. Prices for having one frame cut tend to be high. It’s cheaper per frame to have an entire sheet of steel cut. I have a tweaked p3+ and would rather have an Eclipse3D.

I have a p3steel from orballo, I don’t like it, had to do a lot of modifications to get it acceptable. I’ve made several posts about it. A lot of the issues are the same problems that any prusa i3 design has.

I need a printer so I can make a better printer. I’m not fond of most printers under $1,000. There are a few exceptions, but the print area is typically too small.
The p3steel can be made into a decent printer, but it takes a lot of work. I’m still in progress of modifying mine.
