ABS or PLA?

PLA

Nice

Add a rounding to the 90° angle to strengthen it instead of creading a designated break-apart point.
For thicker material, camfering the holes maked it easier to insert stuff blindly.

Sweet…

@Marcus_Wolschon Don’t the layers inherent in 3D printing cause all 3D printed objects to have a designated break-apart point every 0.3mm or so?

@Richard_Betel , once your printing temperature is calibrated, the inter-layer bonds are very strong. The filament we use was originally used for plastic welding, and we essentially do the same thing, layer to layer.

That being said, it’s unlikely that everyone’s temperature is really dialed in that well.

@Marcus_Wolschon Is correct, adding a fillet removes the stress concentration inherent in sharp 90 deg corners.

Thanks for the tips!

By the way, I really like your concept of having your tools neatly stored right where you need them. Maybe if I neatened up my print area my wife wouldn’t fuss at me for taking over the dining room table.
