Had anyone’s printer sounded different after upgrading to a heated bed? My X motor sounds… Different is the only way I can describe it. Did a test print and everything seems to work OK.
If your PSU is undersized for the HBP, it could be sending less voltage to the motors/drivers, which could affect the sounds a bit. But having that much voltage sag would be a pretty big issue. Might want to check it with a multimeter.
I’m using a PSU that is the same as recommended by Printrbot. The other motors sound ok and the hotend and bed temps are holding. I’m thinking I may have the x belt too tight. I’ll check with a multimeter though. Thanks
