Had to distract myself from all the BM FB feeds…

New project Event Horizon. Really like how this pattern came out. 5 different timers control the timing and random values are assigned to 5 different variables to keep this thing changing all the time.

This is the first project that I have done that is really bright even in brightly lit spaces. I think its because the concentration of LEDs (142) in a small confined space.

Very nice effect.

Whoa, I think I just hypnotized myself.
Great design! Really smooth.

@Justin_Eastman are you and Jose Manuel working together?? https://www.instagram.com/p/BJs5rQthYEF/

Funny you mention that. We have been talking but our projects were separate. Pretty interesting coincidence.

Wow this looks amazing! Great job.
Can you give some more details about this project?
What is the size, did you use an LED-strip?
How did you cut these patterns?
Great job! Keep going!

good job Justin it is so different with prior infinite
mirror that we knew about that , can you share any fabrication clue or links

Its cut out with an X-Carve CNC. Plywood and acrylic. WS2801 LEDs and just an adruino mini.

Here is a link to my FB page showing it pre-construction.

Awesome! Could you show an image how the leds are attached? Been looking at the images on facebook, but somehow I don’t get it

I am using the led strips, see the picture above. They are stuck to the wood pieces so the lights shine inwards. One thing the picture shows that may be hard to understand is that the acrylic in the build pictures still has the paper on the white acrylic.

That is so awesome!

Wow! Thats beautiful Justin

I always enjoy your projects!
