Haloo all, I want to ask
What machine should be used for beginer.
I’m interested with 3d modeling, and I’d like to try with interior design & RC parts & kit.
Please give me your advice…
Thanks

Try the newly introduced Prusa i3 MK2 (http://youtu.be/pCHKpsawbbI; kit or assembled) or look at comprehensive 3D Hubs’ printers guide for an inspiration: http://www.3dhubs.com/best-3D-priNter-guide

Still have to say the new Printrbot simple metal V2 if you’re up for waiting till the release. It has nice beginner features and is technologically beyond a lot of other machines in its price bracket

I recently bought a tevo tarantula. Extremely impressed with the build quality and prints that I’ve got. printed one 20mm cube, was so happy with the quality that I started complex prints immediately thereafter. Very very nice printer - especially considering its price ($230)

Do not start with a delta style printer.

I see the magic of low price printer clones, but a good hint for beginner: Choose your 1st 3D printer from these with prooved reliability, perfect tech. support and documentation (!), friendly community and certificated hardware. (Nobody wants to burn down the house due to disabled security features in printer’s firmware or faulty electronics.)

Don’t start with a clone, they are designed to be cheaper, not the same. This means that the cloner cut critical to quality features to save a bit of cost.

Printrbot is an excellent starting place. It has features like automatic bed leveling. You can get it assembled, so your can just start printing. It is a product that started out with all of the corners cut to save cost, but has since focused on quality at cost.

If you want to get a better handle on why to buy certain printers and avoid others watch @Thomas_Sanladerer reviews. They are fair and compete. After you choose a printer watch through his videos on slicing/tuning/configuration and other topics.

@Thomas_Sanladerer does indeed rock for printer reviews and various tips and tricks.

Wow… Very nice advice all. Its time for me to learning all the suggested reviews. And is there any seller in Indonesia ?

@Tomy_Riando try http://maps.google.com and type in “indonesia 3D printer” and “australia 3d printer”. I have heard that Aldis (grocery store) in Australia carries a 3D printer. I found 4 results in the indonesia search.

@NathanielStenzel thanks for your suggestion, i found one in jakarta, i search at gmaps as your recommend. I know that place, I will visit that place.
