Harbor Freight Tools (OFFICIAL)  Wants to know what we want them to carry

@Harbor_Freight_Tools Wants to know what we want them to carry in their stores. Go put a vote in for 3D Printing Printers and supplies. Or just +1 an existing one!

It scares me a little to think what a Harbor Freight 3D printer might be like.

If it’s like many of their tools, it will probably be cheap, a bit crude, but certainly serviceable. I’ve heard the horror stories, but every tool I’ve bought from Harbor Freight has been at least OK, and sometimes better than that. When I want high quality, I shop elsewhere and spend more, but sometimes HF is plenty good enough. Others’ mileage may vary.

I would be happen even with Geeetech (or some other low-end Chinese brand) DIY kits.

They are at least a complete starter set of ‘vitamins’ for a RepRap.

P3 steel kit. They already sell a bunch of other heavy stuff.

Their stuff tends to be cheap and serviceable. Avoid the cheapest stuff and go for the middle priced one. I mainly want to see them sell filament, because they would stand behind it.

But they’d just sell re-branded ESun or worse, get some made that was old school plastic welding filler. They’d stand behind it if you like going back to the store every weekend to find a decent spool. Not sure that helps me any, I’d rather just order some off Amazon with same day delivery.

@Chris_Brent Just as likely to get bad filament from amazon, and a lot harder to return it. I drive past harbor freight every day.
And I use esun now - haven’t had an issue with at least 8 rolls in a row.

Where do we vote?
