Has anyone found a source for the bevel gears?
I am printing them right now, but seems like a part I wouldn’t mind buying depending on the price.
I was looking at the CAD models and noticed that the bevel gear has a company name and part number in it.
Mekanex A1016M16-1.
I googled them and they are a Swedish company that does make gears. Daniel did you design your gears based on these? Is is possible to purchase the gears from Mekanex?
@Joshua_Updyke I´m sorry to say that i only added the number for future reference. As much as i wanted to use a standard component the once i found were just too big so i ended up using the one you mentioned but it´s scaled down to fit, so no luck there i´m afraid…

@Joshua_Updyke On a side note, i have never broken one of those gears from driving.
Daniel, that is good to know. I printed mine in ABS and am just not super happy with the quality. but I have not tested them out yet either.
Usually The axle shaft breaks or dig into the diff case.
