Has anyone had any problems with the new ws2813 leds?
Namely, intense heat and voltage drop issues?

There’s a conversation currently going on in the LEDS are Awesome group over on Facebook about this - apparently someone had one of the LEDs ignite and catch fire (o.O)

Yeah! I work with Eric actually, just checking around here to see if anyone else has also experienced some of these concerning results.

Apparently Ray Wu wrote back and said this was the way the entire batch was… (about the voltage drop aspect at least)

So we’re still not sure what the story is.
