Has anyone here modified the OctoWS2811 timings to work with the UCS1904/2903 chipsets? A quick scan of the datasheets implies it would be possible but thought I would ask first before spending hours with a scope :wink:
It’s just that the large 60mm multiple 5050 leds only seem to use this chipset so I don’t have much choice for my next project.

I can’t speak for OctoWS2811 - but if you don’t mind not using DMA, if you grab the latest master@head you can use UCS1903_PORTA (or _PORTB, or _PORTC, or _PORTD, etc… depending on hardware)

Thanks, I had just noticed the extra chipset support. Have you had hands on with these chipsets or are the timings purely datasheet based?

Purely data sheet based - they always looked like a slower version of the 2812 - and who ever needs/wants that?
