Has anyone used ESUN PLA+? I have a boot load and it says print between 205-220 but my prints were not rite anywhere in that rage so I did what I call a temp tower. Basically a 30x30x200mm tall single wall tower and did a different process every 10mm with a different temp. So looks like 193 is the happy spot. But I have never been that far out from manufacturer spec before. Printing on a Rostock max v3 with Bondtech extruders, e3d v6, trick laser rods, ball joint platform and the truck x mini carriages
.04 nozzle
50c bed
heated enclosure was about 45c
I print it 220 myself, have gone up to 250 for large and fast prints. It really depends on your setup, but in general 220 is my sweet spot, also on e3d v6.
I print it at 190.
215C on prusa mk2s @40mm/s. I am primarily interested in strength, not looks.
45ET - 21RT + 193HET Just a thougt. PS If filament oroducers would tell witch test device were used besides environmental temperature and humidity. And atmospheric pressure comes also into play. Not that I think users/producers are in death valley or at the K2 level. But even cooking times get shiftet in between.
Also, remember that unless you have calibrated the thermistor, it can easily by off by 10C or so.
