Has anyone used Polyalchemy filament?

Has anyone used Polyalchemy filament?
I just can’t believe how awesome it looks!!!
( Picture is theirs )

Looks shiny!

Wow thats mad shiny, and an amazing print.

Hulk…shiny…

I wonder if it had any post processing to get it that smooth (and shiny…

That cant be straight out of the printer, what post procesing you use? Its co-poliester or something??

Wow… i need it!

So good that I looked real closely to see if it was photoshoped.

3D marker noob has printed things in this filament on his YouTube channel and they do indeed come out like this photo. Shiny!

@J_Thaddeus_Eldredge : something to try out?

Wow thats sweet

@Mindless Heh, yes, I often try to get some shine on my prints, but I think you can safely argue that there can such a thing as too shiny

Nice

I had to print one, my son loves the Hulk…

This is still printing so no post processing has been done yet. ( I need to tweak my retraction a bit) This filament prints really well, and is a good candidate for #VelocityPainting @Mark_Wheadon .

@PrintinAddiction Looks great. I’m not sure it’s available in the UK yet, but it would be cool to try the flaming Adalinda in this.

@Mindless don’t hate just participate

Wow. How much should one expect to spend on a decent lower end setup to get started?

@Kashawn_Shabazz low end starting point is ~$200-$300 USD.

Key things you usually lack in cheaper printers:

  • build volume
  • build speed
  • dual extruder
  • ability to print more than just PLA

@Jared_Eldredge Thanks a lot. Really? That inexpensive? Im sure you get what you pay for but thats a reasonable starting price point. Definitely will look into it.
