Have an idea to make most of my 4WD truggy parts from glowing filament. Should be cool to drive one in dark.
If you add UV leds it will be even more spectaculair
(also works with neon colors)
How can UV leds influence this filament? Since it glows without any light present. It “collects” photons and emits them later (quantum physics…).
This filament also fluorescence so it will light up bright green when you shine UV/blacklight on it. You can also use/combine different fluor colors.
I know this is a different process. the UV LEDS will also ‘charge’ the filament so it will keep on shining when they are off.

This is such a cool idea!
I did stack up like 6 spools (6 kgs) of this filament but i did not even start printing yet. Was too busy upgrading my printer (auto bed leveling, more stable frame, ventilation…). Hopefully i will produce some results soon and i will surely post them.
