Waiting for bearings to complete the corexy.
Z axis works surprisingly well but we’ll see when I start printing.

I guess the belt-based Z axis would give you complete freedom for layer heights.

No, due to 3-1 gearing of the stepper motor there are 1.8 kg resistance in the system.

Alignment was not difficult. I screwed the aluminum profiles to the top frame and checked that they were 90 degrees on the frame which they were .Then I moved the z carriage down and used it to check that the distance was equal at both ends.
