Havent tested the new edge build yet but my results with identical power and speeds. Tried out the New-laser build and Master build of firmware. There is a bit of difference on the output @Wolfmanjm ​ +Peter van der Walt​

I would expect there to be some difference if not only due to the difference in the motion control and smoother acceleration. But are there any noticeable issues here?

Other than the power being more noticeable at the start and stop of the acceleration I haven’t seen any noticeable difference yet. I think my test of the complex grayscale image exaggerated the power durring acceleration

It does set power based on acceleration, but it does so at a 1KHz sample rate. Whereas acceleration can change every step.

However the master build also only changed power at a 1KHz rate but acceleration also only changed at 1KHz vs every step.
