Having a strange overhang problem. Mini Kossel printing ABS at 220C with a e3d V5 at 40 mm/sec. 1.75mm filament and 4mm nozzle.
No active cooling, I’ve never needed active cooling before with ABS but I think that I might need to add a fan. I have the printer mostly enclosed so I’m thinking that the ABS isn’t fully setting even with a 5 second minimum layer and cooling head lift.
I could suggest trying a cooler temp or slower speed, but sometimes designs just need support, so it could be that as well. Try this model, I got a very good print of it without any supports(may want to scale it down to save time. 50% works well): http://www.makershop.co/shop/fantasygraph/item/nude-panther-v2
Minimum layer time means the head hangs about longer, this can sometimes soften a number of layers, rather than allowing cooling.
If this is what is happening get rid of the minimum layer time, try that first, if enough cooling is not happening, then you can also try reducing the hot end temperature, enclosure temperature, and/or adding active cooling.
Ok, I must have Cura configured differently to you then . Another thought,
Is the side away from the camera cleaner, and the printer traveling right to left over the photo?
If so, and you only have one perimeter, try two.
Also if you can reduce the print temperature, and then print speed, that may also help, it looks as if the head is pulling material with it that has not stuck in the right place.
