Having an over extrusion problem. The extrusion multiplier is 1 now. How much should I adjust it?
I run at 90% all the time. Even when I run at 100% it doesn’t look like your picture. Did you calibrate your steps per mm?
Not sure how to do that… this isn’t open source either
Keep tweaking the percentage while printing calibration cubes. It may take a while. Use calipers to measure the thickness. If you slice at more than 80% infill, then this problem can be very visible.
Are you sure that it is an overextension problem that could be fixed in your slicer? I would double check that your e-steps per mm are correct as well.
Part of what is happening is that the part is too small. Those holes line up with artifacts along the z axis. What is happening is that the previous layer is still above TG while its placing the next layer. Also the nozzle stays close to the same area, where radiant heating keeps the layers soft.
The fix is to print more objects, or to add a pause at an off location to allow the print to cool before the next layer.
I just did some extrusion adjustment and was amazed that from 1 to perfect was a difference of 0.01.
This was printed along with 2 others at the same time
