Having trouble on first layer,

Having trouble on first layer, straight line seems good but not so good for curve part (also bad when skirt goes to first loop of brim :frowning: ).

Any ideas on what may cause this ?

setup:
makerfarm prusa i3
0.4mm magma hot end
3mm ABS
hot end 225°C
bed 100°C
first layer speed 11.25mm/s (15% of 70mm/s)
elmers all purpose gluestick

increasing melt temeprature and check bouden alimentation.

Its not sticking properly… This could be a number of reasons. But it is more of an art to get all the factors right. Firstly you need to ensure that you have the right temperature of the bed, 60C - 80C for PLA, you will need to experiment with each batch of plastic what is best. Then the height of the extruder for the first layer. I find that adjusting so that a piece of 80g paper just touches is about right. Lastly I use some hairspray on the glass.

If you then get the extrusion speed right then corners that should be square are, that is the plastic sticks arround corners rather than being pulled in.

Hope this helps.

looks like not stick well, decrease the first layer print speed, and increase the heatbed temperature. also increase the ABS hotend temp to 220-230 c.

The first layer height should be less than the default layer height. 70%-90% ie 0.3 layer height 0.2 first layer.
