Hehe getting fancy with LED. Turns out the openbuild 2020 extrusion has a nook that is good not only for hiding gt2 belt but also LED strip :slight_smile:

Just don’t short the led solder points against the extruded aluminum!

hi, sorry is this a somehow moderated group. I have posted a question and it seems hidden somehow.

Did you connected leds to psu or fan pins? I have my strips connected to fan 3 with custom dimmer in Octoprint :slight_smile: But I need to turn it up manually.

I used this before. I put some polypropilene transparent notebook cover, in strips to avoid contact with the frame. Works beautifully

It’s actually very manual right now. It’s a USB led strip from amazon :slight_smile:

A question about the fans. How well do they manage PWM? Whats the lowest percentage they run smoothly?

I just used my hands to feel the air movement anything below S200 I couldn’t feel it. This pic below is at S200 I think it’s good enough but you need two of them

@Shachar_Gafni I use E3D titan for my extruder. I assumed you meant my hotend setup :slight_smile: the two thumb nuts are there to adjust the two FSR sensor sensitivity. It’s my z endstop

E3D ? In bowden i guess. it does not look as E3D V6 hotend, what is it ?
