Hello All,

I am facing issue while trying to setup the Extruder, using the online calculator for the E-steps I have calculated the Esteps for the extruder as 93. I am using the MK8 extruder which I have bought from the eBay.

When I try to run the extruder It does not work, I have done all the essential setup which is provided on youtube/online resources. But when I try to run the extruder I observer the humming. I have checked the voltage of the stepper driver and try to change it to 1.2 V from 0.8 (default)

Nothing seems to be working.

It would be great if you could share your experience related to the Extruder configuration and settings.

What kind of main board and printer configuration do you have?

Were you successful in changing the voltage?

In the mean time we can check a few things to narrow down what might be going on.

Is the extruder hot when you try to run it with filament?
Does it turn if there is no filament in it?
Do your other steppers work? Can you jog them?
Does it work if you plug it into another main board socket?
In other words does the problem follow the extruder stepper or stay with the port on your main board.
