HELLO ALL,I do own a 3D Printer ,

HELLO ALL,I do own a 3D Printer , but really am not exactly sure how to make 3D objects, I know that I need more filament to be able to continue to use it. Looking for some advice please help.

You need to get some 3D models to print. You can make them yourself in software such as Autodesk Fusion 360 or you can download existing models from sites such as thingiverse.

Once you have the model you need to import it into software such as Cura in order to convert it from the 3d model format to a format that a printer can understand. Your printer likely came with some instructions on how to do this for your specific model.

You then need to load filament into the printer, ensure the bed is leveled, and preheat the nozzle and print bed (if this isn’t automatic). Then you send the print files to the printer either over usb connection or via some form of removable media (again varies between printers) and start the print.

If you post your printer model I’m sure someone familiar with it will help you out but it’s gonna take a bit of research and learning on your part to understand how the process works and what to do when things go wrong.

I have a ROBO 3D R1 PLUS,NEED SOME FILAMENT AND SOME UNDERSTANDING ABOUT THE SMALL SCREWS WHICH ARE ATTACHED TO THE NOZZLE

You can pick up filament from anywhere, Amazon is best for me personally. You do need to know what type your printer is capable of using (pla, abs petg etc) and the diameter of the filament to buy. This should be described in the operating instructions that shipped with it.

As for the screws, can you give us a photo so we can see what you mean?

It wasn’t long ago I was in this same boat. Just keep doing research, watching videos and asking questions, you’ll get there!

Please avoid using all capital letters. That is considered the same as yelling here on the internet.

The most common forn of 3D model file for 3D printing is an STL file, but there are others. If you do a google search, try “stl model -louis” so you do not get a bunch of references to St Louis. There are other files that can be used, but I am less familiar with them. Try “3D model sites” and you may get a list of web sites. We har a good discussion with a list of all of them, but that was a year or so back. I can not recall the others and I would not know if the sites are still around or not. There are many posts in this community. Feel free to browse through them from the community page. There are a few people who routinely post instructional videos here. There are a number of people who ask about problems that you may very well run into yourself.
Good luck!

Look for a course on Instructables or some other web site. Look out for books on 3d printing, there are quite a few. Search for reprap wiki. Join a local maker club.

Youtube has a bunch of instructional video and some of the members of this community make some of those videos.
