Hello all,  I have some 8mm anodized aluminum linear shaft (AWM-08 from igus Inc.

Hello all,
I have some 8mm anodized aluminum linear shaft (AWM-08 from @igus_Inc ) for my X-axis.
I am wondering what sort of linear bushing/bearing I should run on these. I am considering bronze sintered bushings, standard LM8UU bearings, and the fancy WLM-0810-12 plastic bushings from Igus. Which would be the most suitable solution in the aspects of precision, longevity, and cost?
Thanks in advance,

Hi Ishaan-

The best match for those AWM-08 parts is currently RJMP-01-08 (see the link below). We are going to be releasing a version that is dimensionally interchangeable with the LM8UU parts in the near future, but the main difference is that the new part will have a smaller outer diameter.
You will not want to run bronze or ball bearings on aluminum shafting as it will be destroyed. Plus our bearings are dry-running and do not require maintenance or lubrication - so they will offer hassle-free operation for the duration.
