Hello all ya 3D Printer ppl XP. I need help i going to buy my first 3d printer yet im having issues in understanding a option on the printer that i want to get there are 4 option the printer is a RepRap Prusa I3 and the different option are
“Option:
da Vinci 1.0
da Vinci 2.0
ZP - ZIM SILVER - 001
ZP - ZIM BLACK - 001”
I have not idea what this means all i know its that its a part number but to what XS.
if someone could help that would be super nice.
Can you link to it so we can see what you’re referring to? The da vinci printers are completely different than the prusa i3.
that the printer i want to buy if you look at the right hand side there is a option there you can select the different option yet all have a different pricing.
That’s unusual, it seems like they’re selling the da vinci printers (http://xyzprinting.com) in the same product post as an i3. Personally, I wouldn’t buy from here for a variety of reasons, but most notably is that it looks like they’re using acrylic for their frame.
well most of the printer that i have found on the net at that price are normally acrylic frame.
There should be some wood varieties. I’ve never used a printer with an acrylic frame (actually, that’s a lie, but it wasn’t the main support structure) so I can’t really say if it would be good or bad, I just couldn’t imagine it working well or being very transportable. Plus, it’d be very easy to break.
well do you know of a company that as a printer with in the 400 to 500 price range that has around a 200x200x200mm print size
I highly doubt you’ll find any good ones in that size in that price range. There’s printrbot, which has 150mm^3 for $600. Do you have access to a laser cutter? You can usually build it pretty cheap if you source a kit. Unless of course, you don’t want to build one and deal with that hassle, I completely understand.
well i dont have a problem building it the one im want to buy i have to put together but it a kit so everything in there now building from 0 that just to much time i dont have.
