Excellent! Mind if I ask where you got the spinner? The only ones I’ve found are around expensive.
I really like it! How many pulses per revolution does that encoder output? I was wondering how hard it might be to get the pixel position/rotation synced with the knob rotation.
@Jason_Coon A rotary encoder with no detentes should spin fairly well if you put a large heavy knob on it, particularly if you put the weight to the outside as if it were a lead filled tire.
@marmil 1200 pulses per revolution, more than enough to synchronize, but you need a reference; a sensor to know the starting position or use an absolute encoder.
