Hello,
Did somebody already try to insert a header in TP5, TP6, TP7, TP8 BeagleBone Black holes?
Standard headers have square size (0.025 inch x 0.025 inch) 0,64mm x 0,64mm (Harwin brand) and are very difficult to place in these holes. I couldn’t find smaller size headers that match crimp sockets size and crimp housing to connect a battery backup. These holes were drilled too small.

I think these are 0.1" (inch) spacing posts, the same pitch as the big female headers and your solder-less bread board, and the “Jumpers” used in your PC.
Hello,
I am sorry. I could have explained that better. The problem is that each header’s pin is much to large for the drilled holes. Diagonal of each of the four square pins is approx. 0,035 inch (0.89 mm). That’s a bit too large for the holes. I had to force them in the holes. That is a serious drawback. I use male headers as one can see on the board picture (not female headers). Harwin manufacturer builds smaller pins but unhappily not with matching crimps sockets and matching crimp housing. I couldn’t find any other suitable headers by Farnell - Element14 distributor. A solution would be to drill bigger holes directly when building BBB in the factory.
