Hello everybody. Here some pictures of parts printed with thé exact same setting, also for speed and acceleration. The red 150mm Robot Maker has wobble. The other parts are well printed.
I used slice3r prusa edition ans my printer is a home made prusa i3 with wood frame.
I also made some 20x20x20 cube well printed.

Do you have any idea of the root cause?

If it is not zwobbel the difference could come Frome autolayerheigth feature of slic3r if yor extrusion rate is not perfect thiscould look like your problem or to high speeds, on the smaller part it decreases speed.
Use http://gcode.ws to find out the speeds and extrusion rates of the good and the bad gcode file and compare them. That’s how I troubleshoot

@Este_ban_S thx you for help. I did not use the autolayerheight feature. I will try gcode.ws.

using the same settings may cause different results as the small parts didn’t use the full available speed - while printing the bigger parts with larger moves could make dynamic forces visible. Try to print this with ½ speed and see if the wobble minimize.

I had a problem like this and the issue was the bit-bang mode for the heated bed. Switch it to PID in the firmware and calibrate it, you will see a difference. Also make sure your temp sensor is firmly mounted near the center of the bed.
I also had problems with my belt mount, where the belt wasn’t tensioned against the mount because the belt was a closed loop.
And finally the belt I had was a cheap knockoff brand, switching to genuine gates gt3 helped.

@Stephanie_A if it is what you explaine, should I not get it also for the other part?

Print time per layer would change the frequency. If the print is very fast, it might not be noticable. Ambiant temperature can affect it too. I turned on bed PID for all printers I work on, it’s a noticable improvement.

Z wobble due to bent leadscrew typically has a set frequency, very repeatable. Loose belts or backlash isn’t sinusoidal.

I hope i have 3d primt
