Hello everyone. I just broke my hotend...

@Tony_Olivo i wouldn’t know where to even insert a PTFE liner into mine - it’s working perfectly fine without one.

I ordered E3D V5. and it’s still feels good :slight_smile:

Woops! Sorry to @Sanjay_Mortimer for the bad mouthing his hot ends on hearsay.

Try the AllMetall LEONOZZLE

I’ll bad mouth the Trinity all metal hotend. They jam, and customer support doesn’t exist. I bought two, still mad about it! :slight_smile:

Im planning on an e3d or prusa all metal for nylons. Got a friend an e3d as payment for some work and have not heard any complaints thus far. The support was great, There was an early issue with the first batch and me and my bud i got it for got emails, and parts were sent free to remedy the issue to my bud. Though I havent used it personally, I still have yet to upgrade mine, Ive been pleased with Sanjay and his e3d.

i have about 100 sets E3D metal hotends, No peek and ptfe part. You can use DD2 extruder with E3D hotend. The working perfect.

@jakolete_jakolete , looks pretty cool, do you use a fan

looks like the e3d is printing with out issue it just got installed. :slight_smile:

Just installed E3D with my Prusa i3, works great with ABS.

@Eric_Moy no.

@Rocky_Shi
Don’t recall having sent 100 units to Shenzen. If you are manufacturing these you should be aware that the drawings released are licensed only for NON-COMMERCIAL use. So you can’t just clone and resell. And you certainly can’t call it “E3D” that’s our trademark and company name.

Budaschnozzle has done pla, abs, and nylon of 1.75 or 3mm just fine for me. Check out Lulzbot.com.
