hello everyone. I’m currently working as an intel rep and thought i would share a picture of the cube by 3ds. i have had nothing but success with my prints other than having issues with too little or too much glue. what are your thoughts on this printer and glue control?
What do the 3DS people recommend? Do they use glue at all? I’ve been using the Purple Elmers glue stick, waiting until it dries clear, and then printing on that. Not only has it helped things stick down when printing large, but it helps act as a release agent when things are all done.
On PLA only, or do ya use glue with ABS? (He says, while waiting to buy acetone)

I have plenty of glue…I may have to give that a shot.
when you purchase the cube 3ds includes the glue. to clarify my (occasional) issue it seems easy to mistakenly apply too much glue which clogs the spout or apply too little in which case dries, causing the printed item to break away from the base platform and fall over. it’s definitely not something you can haphazardly apply. out of fifteen prints I’ve caused three errors via the glue issue
Maybe you can keep an eye on the glue thickness with an LED light bar a shallow angles.
