Hello Everyone, I’m in the process of putting together the wheel assembly on the gantry plates. I’m a bit confused. It is my understanding that there is no washer placed between the 6mm spacer and wheel or the eccentric spacer and wheel. The problem I’m experiencing with this configuration is that sometimes a wheel will not spin at all (I’m not over-tightening the parts, I’m just snugging everything together). On the other hand, when I put a washer between the spacer and the wheel (and snug everything together) it rolls freely. I’m concerned about the tolerances involved between the wheels and the c beam. I know there’s very little room for error. Your advice is greatly appreciated. Thank You, Andrew
I will look at mine when I get out to the shop. I know I had no problems with my wheels.
