Look for the electronic circuit diagram, it says everything you need.
I know in other boards (ie. TinyG) you wire the laser input to the spindle on/off, and the GCode is used like in a router; I think the difference is the laser must be pulsating instead of continuous ON; but you can do the same with grbl
I picked up a similar kit a while ago, which installs into a 3d printer to replace the extruder, but the laser was so low power that it can’t cut anything more than paper. Still, it’s cool to have a laser, even a wimpy one.
