Focus on the actual interesting bits of 3D Printing, engage your audience and try to get them using their imagination. Don’t idealise or try to sell it but be honest about the limitations while focusing in what it can do and why this is so great! If you have cool stuff to get pass around or freebies to give out, even better!
I’ve seen little maker coins on thingiverse, small quick prints that might be quick enough to make a bunch. Oddly enough, people will take my calibration cubes as souvenirs
I have a stash of failed prints that I usually bring to things like that, so I can break open and show the infill and perimeters. It’s usually easier than trying to have everyone crowd up to the desk to see what’s going on.
