Hello,
I am trying to use a 5M 60led/meter APA102 strip with Arduino Nano.

With this setup the below modified code of FIRSTLIGHT. ino or any code for that matter, does not work beyond 140th LED , which is around the half of the strip . A white light runs until 140th led leaving a trace of green, but anything after that is lit randomly as red, green, and also unlit.

The original Firstlight.ino works fine.

I don’t have a Arduino Mega in hand, is this issue related to memory or anything Nano related? Is it possible to avoid?

how often do you inject +5V and Ground in the strip? Try at least every 2m.

I used the strips default. I have other 5 meter strips such as LPD8806 or WS2812 and I never needed to inject 5v and ground in them plus I cannot do it anyways because the strip is waterproof version

maybe at the end? I had similar problems with a strip beginning at 4.2m
