Hello, I am wondering if any of you know about a good micro servo gripper. The gripper should be made of very few parts (few screws and gears). Thanks!
Have you seen the gripper (claw) that is part of the MeArm robotic arm? It’s composed of parts that can be 3d printed or laser cut from acrylic or 3mm birch ply. Two claw “teeth?”, a couple of braces for the servo and a pair of short linkage arms.
the claw is part of the entire assembly, but it would not be difficult to implement it in a different manner. I’ve built one complete assembly with great success.
Search Thingiverse for “servo gripper”. Several of the results seem to have a low part count and small number of fasteners. I don’t have any experience with any of them; but, I’ve seen several of the designs advertised in kit form from various Chinese sources as well.
