Hello, i have a newbie question...

Hello, i have a newbie question… I have 2 one meter 74 WS2812 led strips connected to eachother, wich makes a 148 LED array. But what I want is to use it as a 74 array with double output. The example I’m trying to do is the “Fire 2012” example sketch but with both strips simultaniosly (twice the brightness) I can’t seem to find examples about this, so I ask the question here  Thanx in advance if you’re able to help me!

Are you able to connect each strip to their own data pin or do they have to be in one long chain?

Mark Kriegsman posted one of these a while back, but it had an issue in the XY routine. This one should work (and if it doesn’t, I’ll fix it and repost):

In the meantime, be VERY cognizant of power issues. I always start out with a small project before working up to a larger one such as yours.

@Brian_Lewis One long chain (since I already wired them)

@Andrew_Tuline Good start, got this working, now let me find out how to send to different patterns (or one the same) to both! Thanx a lot!!!
