Hello, I have a problem for Prusa i3 3d printer to connect to Pronterface.
It connects with Arduino 1.0.5 wihout problem (port Com7, baudrate 115200) and I can control fan, extruder heater, light diod. So I think if I set the same values for Pronterface and for port in printer’s driver (Windows 8) no problems shouln’t be - no luck. Pronterface says: Connecting . . . without end. For any other command: No printer online.
Any sugestions? Please.
My printer is:
Reprap Melzi 2.0 Control Board 1284P Prusa I3 Controller Board For 3D Printer, Sanguinololu driver.
Try a different host, like Repetier or Cura. Though Pronterface is usually pretty tolerant of the exact board and firmware used. Maybe something in Windows 8 messing with it?
By the way, are you using the binary builds of Printrun or are you running from source with a manually setup Python environment?
Maybe old pronterface versions support only four Com ports?
Thanks guys.
I pretty sure about Com7 port. It appears only when I connect the printer.
I use Repsnapper2.1.0 and Pronterface (10 Mar. 2014) the newest I found. Also I tried these programs with the old computer (Windows XP). Result was exactly the same.
So I decided to write to seller RPTech Works Ltd.
