Hello,
I have an RGB strip with D7001 IC’s, is there any possibility to get those strips to work with your library? Thanks

Unfortunately, I have never found a reliable data sheet for them - the closest was a conversation in this thread - http://arduino.cc/forum/index.php/topic,74566.0.html - though it’s unclear how much the conversation at the end is D7001 or S301 - either way, it looks like a pretty bad protocol, and not very addressable.

What do you want to do with it? I’ve been very happy with the ws2812/ws2811 strips - which come in 5v in 30/m and 60/m sets. There’s also the LPD8806 strips which are also pretty good. The ws2812’s have the best bang for the buck, the LPD8806’s can take data at a much higher rate than the 2811’s.

Thanks for the info, well I wanted to build an led display with them so I guess I’m taking the LPDs because they can handle up to 2Mbps :slight_smile: Have a nice day
