Hello!
I have just set up my Eleksmaker and flashed Gerbl1.1f on to the nano.
I have been using LaserWeb this morning but generally messing with settings and not sure if they are even in the “ballpark”.

What settings should I really be using for:

  1. X and Y max rate (mm/min) $100 and $101
    2 ) Acceleration (X and Y). $120 and $121.

  2. What is the “Cut Rate” option? (range 1->50,000)

  3. Laser Diameter…how can I actually measure this…or is it a bit of a “0.1mm as a guess”?

  4. On the setup…if I am using Gerbl…do I set “S PWM max Value” to 1000?

  1. jog and measure the distance , it should match
  2. I would do 1000 and increment from there until you see it skips steps or something else
  3. is the speed you want to use for that operation. Mind that you need to choose between mm/min or mm/s un settings.
  4. laser are 0.1 in most cases .
  5. that value should match grbl and LW settings do it knows the range and max value
