Hello! I have one question: Why shafts are not in line?
my first guess is, that the hohles for the chentral diff are not in the right place. somehow there are different versions of the cnetral diff and the chassis plates, i dont know exactly which fit together.
My second guess there could be some warping involved. you can check this on your printer by printig some calibration model…
The central diff has a slight offset from the middle to make some more room for the battery. It was changed in some of the later revisions.
@Emile_Wim is right, i had to move it off center to make room for the battery. It´s not the best solution but will have to do for now.
Thank you.
And why cardan shaft Is located at an angle?
front differential and wheel bearings are also not on the same line.
did you use a laser cutter for the bottom plate?
Yep.and I want use laser again)
okay?! why? and would/could you provide me with your file, I love lasers and I own one
file for the bottom plate in carel draw X6: https://www.dropbox.com/s/tdol7irgpapw15f/Chassie_Plate_A.0.cdr
Other details I havn’t cut
I was curious if anyone else used a laser to cut parts for this. The top and bottom chassis are ideal parts for it. I was thinking of cutting my out of acrylic sheet since I already have some. But I have the feeling it will not be strong enough. Worst case it breaks and I make a new one. lol
Plexiglas и acrylic fragile, so I use plywood 6millimeters.
